I am really sorry!
But this whole “No Margaritas” thing is just not working out for me. I tried. I really did. But every empty opening hour just feels like a long, drawn out heart break.
I am of course, completely on board with the ‘why..’
Just not so on board with the ‘how’
As a result, I have decided to close the
restaurant until further notice.
Stay safe - keep your distance
Hasta pronto, mucho amor

¡Hola, muchachos!
We'll meet again
WHO THE HELL IS HÉCTOR?
- And I was like, holy guacamole it’s cold in this place! How does anyone even live here, it’s outrageous!
My shoes were all wet from something that looked like frozen margaritas, except it was everywhere, and I definitely wasn’t wearing my good coat.
I panicked.
My tan wasn’t going to last a week in this place.
Dios mio! Take me home.
The first days was a disaster. Nobody would sit next to me on the bus, I don’t understand why? Did I smell bad? Honestly, I usually smell pretty good.
I was was trying to strike up a conversation with people on the street, but they all just looked at me funny.
So, anyway.. One day whilst shopping for tortillas. Boom! There, as shocking as Tequila in a French Bistro,
stood the person of my life.
I had about as much chance of survival as a piñata in a pre-school.
It was amor! I was never going home.
Ok, ok. Thats a bit dramatic.
The point is, I thought it was the person of my life.
And no sub-zero temperature could change my mind.
Summer was amazing!
Though I honestly have no idea how you Norwegians sleep at night. The sun doesn’t go down!
Why doesn’t the sun go down?..
Of course my "person" didn’t work out.
Was I bummed? Yes I was. Did I cry?...... Absolutely not!
Life’s too short, amigos!
I did manage to fall in love with one more thing though, and this one is going to last. Trondheim, te quiero!
So much space per capita!
Strolling along the river dreaming of tacos.
It's a good life..
Oh, and I made the most amazing Margarita with some strange berries I picked in Bymarka. Delicious!
So when 2020 decided to turn into the century’s biggest drag of a year, returning to Mexico was suddenly not an option.
And I thought, why don’t I bring some Mexico to you? You could use a litte more food and fiesta around here.
I hope you’ll like it, you are very welcome
- Héctor
¿donde es la fiesta?
(That's Spanish, for where is the party, in case you were wondering)
At the far end of our restaurant you will find Héctors absolute favourite place, the cocktail bar. It has a seat for all the friends you'll ever need, and you don't even have to eat.
Unless you want to.
Héctor has a couple of friends who dabbles in DJ'ing and will be spinning records every weekend. It might be a good idea to book your bar tables in advance.
- The French have some fancy name for it.
But please. We all have one.
Theirs are no different from ours.
In all essence it is just a very pretty room.
A table contained by four walls, where you can eat your beans and drink your greens in perfect privacy.
You can book it, to enjoy the company of up to
sixteen of your friends, colegas and familia.
